Brahmma Sri.K. Vaiyapuri Acharya (1855-1929) a genius in the field of temple construction, temple cars and sheet metal relief works. His major works in Andhra and Tamilnadu temples (Tirupati, Madurai, Rameshvar and Kumbakonam etc.,) are considered as precious art treasures. Silpa Sastra scholars and traditional architects are still remembering him with reverence.

Brahmma Sri. Acharya N. Panchapagesan (1925-998) A well-known Vedic and Silpa Sastra scholar, sculptor, painter and writer. His research works on Rig-veda and Silpa Sastras are widely admired by scholars. He was an authority in the study of ‘Social History of South Indian Architects’. He had Written two books about South Indians artists and their tradition.

Brahmmasri. K.P. Umapathy (1956) an expert in the field of Iconography, and Silpa Sastras. Presently he is translating and editing a Silpa text along with his brother.
